“Gunshots. Fist fights. Fleeing an exploding warehouse on a motorcycle. These are the things I imagine when hearing the word adventure. Rugged phones from Motorola don't quite make that list. Nevertheless, Motorola has attempted the impossible with the slim V750 Adventure. It's durable like the company's line of walkie-talkie handsets, but get this — it's not entirely hideous!First, a word to the RAZR fans. (There are some still left.) Though the V750 has similar looks and ergonomics, this isn't the second coming of the world's favorite fashion phone. With military grade protection from dust, shock, and high/low temperatures it's a different creature entirely. Even though it casts the same fragile silhouette as the RAZR, my review unit took repeated 4-foot drops and dirt naps with ease (and just a few cracks). After brushing the phone off, I was still able to make and receives calls with reasonably clear audio. If you're concerned with the average accidental drops and collisions a cell phone endures on a day to day basis, the V750 has you covered, hands down.”

The Motorola v750 Adventure resembles the RAZR in looks, but is designed to run the new and improved push-to-talk service offered by Verizon. This is an important distinction as is opens the marketing doors for many folks who work “in the field” and need to reach associates quickly and without hassle.

For a standard size flip, the Adventure boasts a robust 2.2 inch display capable of reproducing 65K colors. The second display is also competent, measuring 1.6 inches and a resolution that mirrors the main display.

Other goodies include a 2.0MP camera, a video player, MP3 player and microSD slot for additional memory. Definitely a solid flip with a quality feature set.

The Adventure also includes a 2.5mm headset jack, 1.2 stereo Bluetooth, (both of these features enhance the music experience), speakerphone, along with an alarm, calendar, calculator and a complete voice command set including voice dialing, recording and additional commands.

The Motorola Adventure is the latest in the long and interesting RAZR franchise, with larger displays, the push-to-talk feature and plenty of useful features to suit a wide range of potential customers.
