Not very cool
I liked my old Keocera phone way better. Terrible reception, but great battery life!Less
I bought 2 of these phones for me and my wife, I,ve been reading the reviews and have not had any battery life issues. The Batt. lasts a long time, I don't use it a whole lot but it's been 2 days and I still have 4/4 bars and it's been on 24/7. I don't understand all of the batt. problems others are experiencing. Pros: Good battery life, small, light and easy to use. Cons: Feels a little cheap but $30.00 I guess it really is :)Less
It makes and receives calls.
If you want to call and be called, it is great. If you want to launch a space shuttle while on facebook, keep looking.Less
A big step backwords
After using 6 to 8 phones in my life, this is the worst phone I have ever used. Battery life is short, reception is terrible (can't use it indoors) and feels very cheep to the touch. Features are limited, and everytime you send a text, it asks you if you want to save it. Every time!, very user unfriendly, lacks engineering. Stay away from this phone. If the service provider has anything to do with the poor reception, stay away from signing up with Telus as well.Less
I love this phone!
I've had one of these for about 4 months now and it's been great! I purchased it as a prepaid phone for about $22 to use in case of emergency, got straight through to verizon at 11pm, who got it working that very same night. The battery lasts for days. I use it for unlimited internet access 24/7 and it's never failed to function. The sound quality is superb on speaker, through the ear piece, or via a plug-in headset. The bluetooth connection is also fantastic and I was able to surf the internet from the beach using this phone with bluetooth. It's micro usb cable connection works very well and it's easy to find a cheap cable to connect to it. You can program the arrow keys as shortcuts to messaging, turn off/on bluetooth, etc, making it very easy to use standard features without having to navigate through a maze of menus!Less
Good as a mobile phone.
I bought this as a pay as you go from Telus. No complaints so far. But then I buy a cellphone for the "phone" part...you know, making and receiving calls. I don't want or use any of that other sh*t they cram on mobiles. If all you want is a mobile phone, you should be quite happy with this one. If you want a circus in a handset, keep shopping.Less
Okay Phone - Terrible Support
This phone is a good idea if you're just looking to text and call. I have had no problems with battery life and I have had very few problems in general. Pros: - Small and compact with no external antenna - Bluetooth enabled - Okay picture taking quality, but nothing special - Internet access is of good quality Cons: - No support at all from any phone sites - Email service is not good quality; you cannot attach a picture onto it to send - Can't transfer recieved text images to your own photo albumLess
Within 2 months of having this phone the screen died for no apparent reason. It never got dropped, it never got wet, nothing. Heck, I'm not a big talker and had only used it about a half dozen times. So following the warranty instructions I sent it back, at my own expense, only to have it returned to me with a note that says "unrepairable, return as is". When I called their customer service they said the "component that failed isn't covered under the warranty". ?????? Then what good is the warranty! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE!Less
I own other LG products (tv, cell phones, etc) and they are wonderful. This phone is a dud. I am on the second battery. I returned the first one after two weeks since it only lasted a couple of days. Now the battery lasts around four days (I have had the phone around five months). It does not reliably receive calls when my friend's Blackberry, on the same wireless network, is receiving a crystal clear signal. Sometimes it will not synch with my car's Bluetooth unless I reset it(turn phone off and back on again). Periodically it will "BEEP" and drop my call. I am going to call my carrier and see what they can do for me to try to get rid of this mistake.Less
The basic phone is ok. It's everything else that makes this a bad experience.
If you are looking for a basic phone with limited features and lacking support this is your puppy. If you want to easily back up your contacts or customize your phone for free, (ring tones or backgrounds) look elsewhere. Seems like Verizon nickles and dimes you to death.Less
