You don’t have to sacrifice on the security front, for example, thanks to the fingerprint sensor. The phone is truly waterproof, unlike some competing ‘waterproof’ models, and the screen is crisp, bright, and highly saturated.

A capable, rugged Android smartphone for outdoor types who demand a lot from their hardware

Rugged and buggy

This phone is definitely rugged, the screen is solid, doesn't scratch or break.  Waterproof, dust proof.  The problem is the software, i have a fleet of 130 of these phones for a construction contractor, I wouldn't purchase again, in 3 months I have had 15 phones (10% of my fleet) master reset even though my MDM software (MaaS360) is supposed to prevent that.  If you a user doesn't remember the gmail account password on the device or attempts to reset it after the inadvertent master reset happens the phone will permanently brick (for your protection you know).  MDM integration is nowhere near as advertised and does not compare to any Samsung device integration, the control on my end just isn't there.  When put in your pocket it will trigger all kinds of different functions, even with a lock screen in place.  I bought them for the ruggedness, that's great, but functionality and what I deal with as a device administrator just doesn't make the whole package worth it.

Worst phone I've ever owned

Terrible phone within the first month of owning it the screen broke. Software is very slow per freezes up. I owned my S3 for 3 years and never had a broken screen for that matter I've never broken a cell phone screen on my life till I bought this rugged phone lol seriously don't waste your money. It does have a pro tether speaker is awesome but everything else less than desirable.
