HTC Desire 626G+

Certainly the otg function does NOT work in the UK spec/Andriod 6 version. After 3 emails to HTC support (no responses!), a couple of web chat sessions (we'll get back to you - but they never do) and finally a phone call HTC confirmed that the 626 does not support otg - regardless of what is says in the owner manual and elsewhere on the web.

Hi there! I tried searching for info about it but failed find any. Try contacting the seller or HTC to verify if it does support OTG.

Hi there. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Are you trying to update via data connection? Try using a different SIM if you do. Let me know if that helps.

Yeah, a simple restart usually fixes the problem. Please let us know if it's still the same even after restart.

Try holding the power button until it shuts down, and then wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on.

Answer this question...

Hi Shiva. You should check it by using apps like USB OTG Checker to verify if the phone supports it. If it does, simply plug in an OTG device and open file manager to access the files.

my mobile htc desire 626g+ how to use otg ????? pzzzzzzzzz help me:)

I notice with all the touchscreen phone, the screen should still be on if the call is not answered yet and turns off once you answer and put the phone near your face.

I have the same problem :(

The phone turns on but screen won't display anything? Take it to a service center for repairs. Looks like a busted screen. Have you ever dropped the phone?

Why wont my htc 626s turn on u can only see tge little orange light

What happens when you just try to turn on the phone? Did you check battery before updating? Maybe your phone ran out of battery.

Looks like your best option is to visit HTC service center for the cover to be replaced. You contact them first to know the nearest one in your area. Good luck!
