Similar in look and feel to the Pre, the HP Veer is a next-gen webOS vertical slider offering a complete mid-range feature set.
Boasting a 2.6-inch display generating 320 x 400 pixels, the Veer also slides open vertically to reveal a full QWERTY keypad, conveniently offering a second input mode.
You'll also find a 5MP camera with video capture, MP3 player, video playback and native YouTube player, the HP Veer scores points for feature inclusion, but doesn't max out said features, placing it in the middle of the pack.
The HP Veer offers a full internet browser, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi and, surprisingly, tethering capability.
With a talk time of up to five hours and a standby time up to 300 hours, the HP Veer is an attractive phone that hits the important marks.

- John V., PhoneArenaAs much as we absolutely adore is quaint form factor, we find that it’s also its Achilles Heel at the same time. Specifically, we’re limited in our output with certain functions, like typing up messages or reading emails, that seem to make it become more of a chore than anything else. Ev...
