If you want a cellphone that’s strictly for phone calls and text messaging with just a little bit of extra functionality on the side, you’ve got it with the Doro PhoneEasy 615. It can be purchased in either black or red and is available in the common and comfortable flip phone form factor.
Its main features include a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, a large alphanumeric keypad with special shortcut keys, a 3-megapixel camera with LED flash, and over 11 hours of continuous talk time per charge with its standard battery. The on-screen menu system is convenient, straightforward and easy to use. It’s also worth noting that it has a special emergency assistance button on its back side.
The 615 has a number of other nifty features like Bluetooth 3.0 and support for microSD cards. It may not have all of today’s latest cellphone features, but then again, it’s not supposed to. It’s meant only for those who need a simple handset and nothing more. Seniors in particular will like this model's ease-of-use.
