The BlackBerry Curve 9220 is a stylish phone in slim design and glossy body. The BBM services as always are at its best. Instant Messaging, BlackBerry App world and many such applications do justice to this new Curve series phone. But its weak camera and functionalities with slow 512 MB RAM come in its way to claim clear lead over other competing phones... Full review

Sturdy build quality with super physical keyboard that offers good value for money

The BlackBerry Curve may not win the battle for best smartphone but if there was a competition for best budget smartphone it is in with a chance. It may be lacking in some areas in comparison to many budget Android devices but they don't all have a sweet hardware keyboard, a flashing LED and BBM. It is all about personal preference when it comes to choosing a new phone and the BlackBerry Curve sales figures speak for themselves. I certainly couldn't live without my BlackBerry.

Slow processor and an average battery backup

The biggest drawback for BlackBerry still continues to be its inability to excite the developers to create apps for its platform and the BlackBerry Curve 9220 is unlikely to change that. However, if you are not into the apps and are looking for a budget BlackBerry smartphone to connect with your BBM friends, then Curve 9220 is worth considering. It is also be a good upgrade for users of BlackBerry Curve 8520 as it offers an updated OS and better battery at a similar price point... Full review
