I wanted a cell phone with a camera. With this phone, that's exactly what I got. I haven't got a need for extremely high resolution photos, although I do paint pictures based on what I see and take a picture of. I've used my phone to take pictures of clay tablets in a local museum, and they provided enough details to get a translation made... So, draw your own conclusions. I do find the menus a bit cumbersome. There are ten different screens, that lead to different areas of the phones functions, and neither of the two that are supposed to get a person to the internet actually work on my phone; but the price was right, and it met my main needs... Last point: I had to buy a program/cable kit to download my pictures. The only one I could find was "DataPilot Pix & Tunes". It didn't cost much; but the hangup with it is that deleting the pictures in the phone's gallery is a slow process. Consider that if you need to. All in all, I'm pretty happy with this phone. It's worth the price of purchase ($59 USD). I wish I had something that could connect with my e-mail, but the prices for those are astronomical--so price knocked me out of looking for that. Less

This is my first camera phone . I would not buy this phone . Retrieving pictures to your PC is hard , downloading rintones did not work for me . The phone itself is not bad .Most of the problems are from Bell !

Waste of life.

This is probably the worst cellphone on the planet. DO NOT PURCHASE. I'm serious. I was excited about the camera when I first got the phone, but it was utterly lame. Bad quality even for an early camera phone. Reception is so, so weak that it killed my battery before I knew it. At one point, before I got rid of it, the phone turned off on me after almost ten minuted of talking. That was with a fully charged battery. Even the design is crap. Less

Both phones are great for about 6 months or so...then the charging port starts going bad, then eventually quits charging completely. I went with the house charger on my second phone and it powers on and off constantly until the charge gets to 3 cells, then it charges consitantly the rest of the way. I haven't been able to get any help from the product manufacturer, as I've already had the same problem with 2 of their phones. Money over customers must be their motto. I was in line at the mobile store not too long ago and the customer in front of me was bringing in his audiovox 8910 for the exact same problem. It stopped charging. I think they need a recall! Wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone. Not worth the hastle. Less

Pro: You can record a voice memo and make it into a ringtone, and even that has problems. Con: Sound quality is horrible, battery life is terrible, outside camera button(explaination below),alarm acts weird while the phone is being charged. EVERYTHING REALLY! The only reason i got this phone is because my original phone was damaged and I had no insurance. The sound is distorted and hard to hear sometimes. The battery could be charging for hours, but when I take it out the charger and begin using it, the bars immediately go down to one or begins blinking as if I haven't charged the phone for days. The two things about this phone that annoy me the most is the outside camera button and the alarm while being charged. I keep my phone in my bag during the day. When I check to see if I have any calls or messages the Sub LCD is always on running up my battery. It's so annoying. What I don't like is that I can't charge my phone at night like most people because I use the alarm on my phone. When my phone is charging and the alarm goes off, the alarm only rings for 5 seconds or less and stops. This is hard to hear if your sleeping. Overall I would NEVER recommend this phone to anyone. Pro: It's got what most other phones have. Call history can be divided unlike some phones. Alternate charge methods. Con: Volume and ring level not good in noisy areas. Bulkier than the similar 8900. I bought this 8910 phone since my awesome 8900 went kaput(screen went blank) after 2 years of being the original owner. The bad thing with my 8910 was that I broke the charging port! And cricket wanted $60 for a replacement EVEN THOUGH I'd been paying the crooks $5 a month for 10 months for damage insurance! Audiovox may have claimed it was my fault. I found a local electronics repair place that actually sells a charger that connects through the data port! It cost me $25 and I was glad to have paid that since I'd already purchased ringtones for this phone. I tried to compare this new charger to others at the stores and even tried one from walmart but it didn't work. Overall, this is a good phone ONLY NOW that I've found an alternative charger. I haven't even put a case on it since I bought it and still the elements aren't strong enough for this handy little phone. A friend bought one off ebay for $9 with the same problem and bought the alternate charger and 7 months later is still pleased! Less
