The market is flooded with several forgettable Android tablets but the Acer Iconia A210 aims to be not just another 10-inch slate.
Reviews point out that despite its budget pricing of $300, the device boasts of a quad-core 1.2GHz Tegra 3 processor, a beautiful and sturdy design, and a neat array of connections (USG, microSD slot, and mini HDMI output).
Some reviews, however, have been quick to note of the tablet's slow 20-second boot time. Once opened though, apps run very fast and web pages load quickly.
At 720 grams and at 12.4mm thick, the successor to the Iconia A200 is neither the world's lightest nor the thinnest tablet. Aside from that, the screen offers a decent 1280 x 800 resolution display and supports 256 colors, not a strong point considering that the likes of Amazon and Apple have been touting high-resolution tablets.
Another common complaint is that, as with some other Android tablets, the A210 won't come with the latest Android Jelly Bean software and doesn't come with business focused apps other than the Polaris Office suite.
Notwithstanding its shortcomings, consensus is that the Tab A210 is a great device for entertainment. The decent screen and the powerful innards allow the wide array of built-in apps like Netflix, Acetrax, 7digital, Kobo and Zinio to run fluidly.

- Victor H., PhoneArenaThe Acer Iconia Tab A210 is an affordable 10-inch tablet, carrying a price of $350. It has one key advantage that will appeal not just to geeks, but all users - a full-sized USB 2.0 port that allows you to hook up a flash dongle, a keyboard or a mouse. Practical and versatile.
- Jamie Carter , TechRadarThe Acer Iconia A210 is one of the best budget 10-inch tablets available. If it wasn't for the very average battery life, we'd be having a major fling with the A210 because it has both flexibility and an Acer-made polish to its user interface that we really enjoyed using.Granted, it's all about func...
