While the Motorola has decided to drop the “Rizr” name from it lineup, the Z6w nonetheless retains the same slider form.
Unlike some of Motorola’s other offerings, the Z6w runs the risk of being too similar to other devices and getting lost among many similar phones in its category.
The Z6w is a handsome vertical slider loaded with Bluetooth, a 2MP camera and an MP3 player. The only unique feature, really, is that it offers integrated Wi-Fi, which is worthy of mention largely because it remains outside most cell phone feature sets.
Closed, the Motorola Z6w has a large display set on top, with a 4-way D-pad in the center, dedicated music key, and the expected “send”, “end” and “clear” keys. It also has two action keys resting just below the screen and, when opened, reveals a basic and roomy alphanumeric keypad.
As a music phone I don’t believe it goes far enough, and as a regular cell phone it’s just fine if you like the design.
It also comes loaded with a full entry level feature set with an alarm and calendar.
