The Motorola Renegade V950 is a mid-level flip that offers users a nice feature mix in a comfortable phone.
If you are looking for something more than a basic phone but are not interested in a full blown smartphone, the Renegade offers a reasonable compromise. You get a 2MP camera with flash, microSD expandability, two color displays, Bluetooth 2.0, a thoughtful MP3 player complete with dedicated music controls on the front, all wrapped in an easy-to-hold design.
Inside, the Renegade boasts a familiar alphanumeric keypad with large, responsive keys. The internal, main display is 2.2 inches and offers a crisp 240 x 320 pixel resolution, making it very easy on the eyes. The volume keys are located on the left side for a change of pace.
The Renegade is rated at four hours of talk time and comes with an alarm, calendar, calculator, to-do list, stopwatch, etc., and you can personalize the phone with caller and ringer ID.
