The LG Muziq is a worthy follow-up to the LG Fusic. Made of better materials, it is also thinner, longer and wider. The Muziq is clearly a phone designed to be a competent music player. To that end, the Muziq sports external music controls with haptic feedback, allows for up to 4GB of external memory and supports stereo Bluetooth.
While the clamshell form factor is slim and attractive, it does create a problem when opened, as the volume rocker keys end up on the top left of the device, making them difficult to reach.
The Muziq sports a 2.25 inch 176 x 220 pixel LCD screen, a talk time rated at 4 hours, 17MB of built-in flash memory and an internal antenna.
Weighing in at only 3.14 ounces, the Muziq has a rich, shiny black finish, good sound quality for both talking and listening to music, and a worthy contender for folks looking for a phone that can do double-duty as a music player.
