Dashlane will create strong passwords for you as you surf the internet, generates passwords for your apps, and allows you the ability to share encrypted, self-destructing messages, i.e., if you want to share your Netflix account with a friend but don’t want them to have access to anything else. Dashlane also auto-locks and PIN locks after inactivity and is compatible with Google Authenticator.

Dashlane offers great, sometimes unique features, including Password Changer and a top-notch form filler. The free edition offers both of those, but Dashlane Premium's $40 yearly fee for multiple devices is among the highest we've seen for a password manager. People are bad at passwords, and passwords aren't great for security to begin with. That's why you need to make the best of a bad situation and get a password manager. If you decide to go with Dashlane, you won't be disappointed. It has excellent tools for creating and replaying passwords. It makes your personal information and login credentials easily available in Safari, and I especially like how it offers to store new credentials from its built-in browser.
