In my opinion, it would take a lot for a company to make a phone in that form factor as almost all phones in these age are just a simple bar phone. But, Samsung built Galaxy Golden, a flip smartphone and recently, there's a rumor for new flip smartphone from them. Maybe there's still future for a different form factored phone.
