Why won't my phone detect my SIM card?
the phone has time on it but is acting weaird it will not read sim chip it keeps on going from emergancy calling to no service it hasnt been wet or droped at all this is the first time my phone has been acting wearid what do i do

Hi crystal. There could be some dirt in your SIM card contacts. Rub an eraser lightly against each of the gold contacts on the bottom of the card. If you wish, lightly rub the contacts on the phone's SIM card port as well. After doing this, reinsert your SIM card to your phone. See what happens. Hopefully it'll work now. If it still doesn't work, try inserting a different SIM card and see if it'll work. There could be a possibility that your SIM card has been damaged. If that is the case, you can buy a new SIM and your provider can transfer your current number to the new SIM card. Not sure though if all providers can do this.
