Why is your customer service so bad? Do you not care about customer retention

I have been trying to get a service person on the phone to assist with my decision to use the Loyalty program or get an upgrade through a store. I have four phones on my account. My wife is completely disillusioned with Bell. I called a local Bell store and the store rep was miles ahead more helpful and knowledgeable than call in service. I got a service person on the phone today and after a spin around conversation with no resolve I requested her supervisor only to find out she was a supervisor. She did nothing to ensure my loyalty, nothing to clarify my questions and then in a pretentious tone advised me she was a supervisor. I hung up and am now looking for other options. Boo Bell!!
