Why is the mic on my HTC One messed up?
My microphone one my new HTC ONE is messed. i can hear people fine but they can not hear me and i tried recording using the microphone app itself but all i pick up is static. However if i put the call on speaker phone then they can hear me?

You should have your phone checked immediately. Contact HTC to find out where you can bring your phone to be checked. But most likely it's an issue with your phone's mic. Let me know how it goes.
