Quick, what’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear about Samsung cellphones? Probably not something with a full QWERTY keyboard. And yet that’s exactly what the Samsung Freeform 4 is. It has a 2.4-inch 320x240 screen, a 2-megapixel camera, and the aforementioned keyboard. It’s also priced to sell.
What’s good about it is that not only does it have a proper keyboard that can be used to type out long e-mails or text messages with whenever necessary, but it also has a number of useful shortcut keys such as those for messaging and the calendar feature. It even has a hardware shutter key for the built-in camera.
The fact that it uses a low resolution panel for its display is a bit disappointing, but then again, it doesn’t really get in the way of usage. Besides, you can hardly do much better if you look around its price range, anyway.
