Where can I bring my Kobo Aura HD for replacement or repair?

Hi there, I recieved a KOBO Aura HD in April and the display is not working properly. There is a line that cuts off the words consistently in every page. Do I need to return this to the store were it was purchased (Best Buy in Ottawa Canada) or do I deal directly with Kobo?
