Why are sent texts from my Doro 8030 not being received?

One recipient never gets my texts although I receive theirs.  The number is correct and they do get my calls if I ring them.  Can something be blocking the text going to them

Hmm.. Odd. Does this problem happen to other people texting your friend? And if you don't mind, can you tell me what phone is your friend using?

Thanks for your answer.  However, my friend had this checked at the shop where he bought the phone and they said there was no blocking in place

Hi Anne. Ask your friend if he/she has any blocker app, maybe he/she accidentally blocked you.
