What can you say about the Samsung a660 Limited Edition?

Hi,

Anyone out there using this phone. I'm considering a corperate plan with Bell and this phone is available for really cheap...like $21 with a 3 year plan. It's the Olympic edition but who cares, I'm patriotic.

Thanks for the feedback.

be careful about accepting a contract for too long... If you phone dies on you or you end up destroying it with water damage or any other kind of damage that isn't covered by the warranty you end up haveing to buy a new phone at full cost.

Regardless you will be obligated to finish your contract... and lets face it... a cell phone lasting 3 years with regular use is questionable.

And the 660 is a decent phone (in mts region anyway). Nice features and fairly well laid out keypad. Reception is average to good, depending on your area... rural areas will notice a bit of q difference. Otherwise the phone should be able to keep up with the new technology coming out pretty decently.

Main point is... try not to signup for anything longer than 18months. saving 100$ now isn't going to save you anything in the long run...

cheers"

i have it,its an awesome phone, and the phone comes with a one year warranty so if the phone dies, get another one,its a cool phone!"

WATCH OUT!!

I've got a Samsung SPH a660 on a 3 year contract with Bell Mobility. I've had the phone for less than a year. I'm now looking for another provider. DO NOT sign a contract with Bell. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. I've been having text messaging problems for about a month now, and they haven't done ANYTHING to fix it. :x By now, I'm ready to pay the contract cancellation fee, just to get away from Bell. Which is a shame, because I like the phone. Reception is a bit tricky sometimes. If you can, look at other providers, or find something that doesn't require you to sign a contract. It's not worth it.
