Is it possible to determine if a LG 6190 is already fully charged without the need of flipping it open?

I have has an LG 6190 and liked the service that I have received from Telus so I signed on for 2 more years and picked up the LG 245 as I am not into music stuff and just want a good dependable phone for phone calls and a good scheduler. The LG 245 seemed to do that for me. My question is that my 6190 had a light on the outside of the phone when charging red and when fully charged it turned green. I was wondering if there was a way to tell if the phone was charged without opening it?
I also believe that I can use my batteries and chargers from my 6190 in my new 245 would this be correct? I was wondering if it is true the longer you hold out on renewing your contract will the offer be better from 6 months in from your contract expiring? Also what other goodies my Telus throw in to keep you if you have had say 3 contracts with them. Many thanks Pookerjams

Pookerjams thanks for the reply. I tried the battery swap and it worked in the 245. It seems to be a good little phone for what I need and like the bluetooth feature.
Thanks again and I am sure that will have more questions in the future.

With the 245 phone the battery indicator will just stop moving when the charge is complete there is no changing this sorry. You can use your charger for this phone but the battery may not work, it really depends you can try it with no harm to the phone, if anything was to happen it will just say incorrect battery and ask you to get a different one.

Telus just recently changed the way renewals are done for upcoming customers that need to renew. Some of these offers suck harshly so no you probably renewed at the best time. As for adding 2 new phones well it really depends on what plan you sign up for and since these offers change quite often its really hard to say, best bet is to check out our website or by visiting your dealer.

Good luck and sorry for the late response

Just entering the world of cell phones at the young age of 66. I have tried to find out what the term local calling means in the cell phone world. Just got a pay and talk telus LG245. Haven't activated it yet as have been unable to get an answer on what is considered a local call. Can you help me out here?

Many thanks
