Hi Joanne, do you remember what you were doing before the letters changed placed on the keyboard? It's possible that you're using a different language setting right now, and in order to make things go back to normal, you have to set your language back to English. You can do this by going to Settings > Language & input and specifying English as the input language of your preferred keyboard under Keyboard & input methods. Let us know if you are able to do this, as it should be a sure way of fixing your problem.
