How to fix "no SIM card' on the ZTE paragon?

Phone displays " no SIM card " at the start up screen until unlocked. Removed battery and confirmed there is a SIM card. Phone will not operate. Please advise. New Phone Today. ZTE - Paragon

Usually if you restart your phone it'll go away

Hi Mark. Can you try using the SIM card with other phones and use a different SIM with your phone just to figure out where the problem is coming from.
