How to stop my LG Flip phone from speaking the number I am dialing?

My Verizon LG flip phone speaks the number I am dialing, but nothing else. How do I stop it?

Thanks, Chuck. Not sure if it's this but can you try please:

  1. With the flip open, press OK [Menu]
  2. Press 9 [Settings & Tools]
  3. Press 5 [Sound Settings]
  4. Press 5 [Digit Dial Readout]
  5. Use the Directional Key to highlight a setting, choose Off, then press OK.
