My tracfone won't dial it gets a busy tone instead.

tracfone smart I guess

There could be a few reasons why your Tracfone is getting a busy tone instead of dialing. Here are some possible solutions:

  1. Check your signal strength: Ensure that you have a strong signal reception in your current location. Poor signal strength can result in a busy tone or failed calls.

  2. Restart your phone: Try turning off your Tracfone and then turning it back on again. This can help reset any temporary glitches that may be causing the issue.

  3. Check your call settings: Make sure that you have not accidentally activated any call forwarding or call barring settings that could be preventing you from making calls.

  4. Contact Tracfone customer support: If the issue persists, it may be helpful to reach out to Tracfone customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps tailored to your device model.

Remember to provide them with details about your phone model and any error messages you may be receiving to help them diagnose the issue more effectively.

Hi Jacobi. If it's an Android phone, it's in call settings. Open the phone app, on the upper right side of the screen, tap the menu button. Choose settings/call settings, then choose Call barring. From there, you can disable all call barring.

How do I  turn off enabled barring?

Hmm.. Which phone and carrier are you using? Maybe you accidentally enabled call barring.

No all the phone numbers I dial are all the busy signal. I've never had that happen before.

I think it might be some setting on the tracfone that is off.

I talked to one guy and he said when he calls my number he gets a busy signal

all the time too.

Hi Jacobi. Does this happen to other numbers you call as well? Also, check if your landline phone is working properly and if the landline phone is maybe up even a bit making it look like it's being used.
