My new Huawei Ascend Y215 was just charged and now I can't turn it on. Why?

Only use it for emerg. purposes. left it on standby, & battery was at o%. Put it on charger, it is 100% & tells me so then shuts off & can't start it. I did reinstall the battery & still nothing.
Hmm... What was the last thing that you do before that happened? Have you tried reinstalling the battery?
