Hi vishwa. Try installing a flashlight app from Google Play store. If it works, try installing a different camera app, the problem may be in the default camera app. If it still doesn't work, it's a hardware issue. In that case, I suggest taking your phone to an authorized service center and have it checked. Good luck!
