How do I stop the Sharp Kin Two from doing modem update?

Hi Paul. I just found out that this issue has been happening to other Kin Two models since the start of this year. One owner has contacted Sharp regarding the issue, but since this model has been discontinued, they say that there's nothing else they can do. Your best chance is with Verizon. Contact them and report your issue. They should be able to provide the solution for it. Good luck!
