haven't had this phone a year yet and the touch screen is having issues. It's really strange. On the main screen no matter where I touch the screen it selects my contacts. It works differently on different screens though. Like when the screen pops up to choose whether to view a message now or later my touch screen works fine! but as soon as I get to the screen for writing the message my touch screen completely quits working again. When I'm in the main menu screen I can select only options on the right side. I'm thinking this is some sort of software problem and maybe not a piece broken on the phone since the touch screen changes when it works from screen to screen.

So does anyone know what options to try? I've already tried taking the battery out and letting it sit but I still have the same problem after I restart. I tried updating the software. I tried taking the sd card out and then taking the battery out and restarting the phone. Nothing works.

I haven't done a full factory reset on the phone to see if that would help but I have some pictures I really really want to get off the phone if I'm going to do that. I have an sd card in my phone but not all my pictures are on it and I can't select the option to copy them all because of my screen. I have a usb plug but my phone always flashes no sd card inserted. Anyone know a way to get pictures off without an sd card?

Also, how hard would it be to replace the touch screen myself? What parts would I need?
