Carl is right, it looks like the Alcatel 20.05 doesn't support PDF files. But since it supports text format notes, maybe you can still read documents as long as you save them to memory in text format (that is, .TXT). Try to load some .TXT files onto a microSD card and see if you can access them through the phone for reading.

Unfortunately, you can't. I'm honestly not sure if there are working e-book reader apps coded in java. You can try installing one. There are lots available online. Try it and let us know how it goes.
