The screen on my just over a month old phone broke (shattered in corner and now cracks are expanding to top of phone in several places). Because I didn't buy 'damage' warranty it will now cost another $235.00 as quoted by the dealer whom I purchased it from. As I'm on a extremely limited budget this is not a feasable cost however the phone must be repaired as this is the only phone I have and must last me until the end of my contract.
My question is, if I have the screen replaced by an independent complany for a much more managable cost, will that jeopordize my regular 'phone warranty'??
