Undersranding long distance charges: i read that if you are in a different city than your local calling area that you can still male calls to local people in that city. However, what if two ppl are in the same city but both have phone numbers from different cities than the one they are currently in. Are they charged long distance? For example. If my local calling area is Victoria but I am currently in Vancouver, I read that I can call Vancouver numbers locally but Victoria is long distance. Now, what if I'm in Vancouver with my boyfriend and his local calling area is Victoria as well. Therefore we both have the same area code from Victoria but are both currently in Vancouver. If we split up to go to the store or something and i need to call him, would that be considered a local call for me? Or not because his area code is not from Vancouver.
