I use fingerprint to unlock my phone but its asking for my password which i forgot. How can I retrieve my password.

Can you try these:
- Visit Samsung Find My Mobile login your Samsung account and try to unlock the phone.
- Enter a wrong code multiple times 'til you see the option Forgot PIN Prompt
- Visit a Samsung store and bring evidence of ownership
