It's not a difficult task with some 3rd party tool,such as MobiKin Assistant for Android,etc

Download this tool on computer and you are allowed to connect phone to computer directly.The program will list all of your photos on program windows,you can preview and choose the needed to import to computer.

Other way is to use Google Backup,this is also a good way,but it's a bit more complicated than MobiKin.
