Hi! First off, we'd like to make it clear that we are not affiliated with Telus or any of its subsidiaries in any way, so take our info with a grain of salt. With that out of the way, here's a quick answer to your question.

Based on what we know, the fact that they are still trying to collect money from you means that you are in the clear. That Telus is making a collection agency go after you doesn't mean you're going to get sued, it means you're going to be asked to pay your balance repeatedly by this agency. That's it.

This is about all we can tell you at this point, and it might be best for you to get in touch with a Telus representative if you want more info. You can find out how to contact them through our Telus carrier page. Just one piece of advice: don't be afraid to talk with them regarding your past dues. It might even be useful to tell them where you stand financially at this point in time, and strike some sort of deal regarding your payments through the help of one of the higher-ups (those who deal in customer care).

We can only hope for you that this gets resolved as soon as possible. Hope this managed to clear some things up for you!
