Why does the LG Optimus Fuel not notify me of a voicemail?
I have an LG Optimus Fuel and there is no icon to notify me of a voicemail. How do I turn this on?

This only "sets up the voice-mail box" but does not provide a voice-mail icon on screen nor any indication of pending voice-mail.
This does not answer the question Allen_58402 asked which is also my question.
Where is the voice-mail indicator on this phone? This is absurd... 300 toys on the phone but basic features of a phone like voice-mail indicator are absent? HELP.
My parents in their late 60s cannot see the microscopic VM icon in the upper banner (which has no notification on it) and I know it's there (I am 45) and with my glasses can barely see it. Any and all help in getting this addressed would be greatly appreciated.
Try this: open Settings --> Call settings --> Voice Call --> Voicemail --> Setup. Check if notifications are active.
