not allowing to batch select all contacts rather I have to select all contacts to delete manually one by one...and the delete option comes when you have at least selected one contact.
Open Contacts > Tap the menu icon (3 vertical dots icon) > Delete > Mark the contacts you want to delete > Tap OK.
