If it's a brand new phone bought from a legitimate seller, I won't bother that much. Warranty got you covered. But personally, when buying a phone, I test everything. And I mean everything. Audio, camera, video playing capability, wireless connections, dead pixels, apps, and more. I even check each app installed.
