How do you text a group on the Samsung Galaxy Centura?

Hi Mary, texting a group on the Samsung Galaxy Centura is easy. All you need to do is specify which group you want to text through your phone book, and you can have a text sent to all members of this group in an instant.

What you need to do first is have a group that's filled with members of your own choosing. If you haven't created a group yet, just go to the People app on your phone. You should be able to find it in the app drawer along with all the other apps. When you find the People app, tap it to launch, then swipe once to the right to navigate to the Groups tab.

Under the Groups tab, there are three pre-made groups already, named Coworkers, Family, and Friends. If you click on any one of them, you may find that there are no people added to any of the groups yet. What you need to do next is to press the Menu button, select Edit, and then follow the on-screen prompts to add contacts one at a time.

You can also create custom groups under the Groups tab by tapping the icon with a plus sign on the lower right corner of the screen. There will also be on-screen instructions there on how you can do it.

Now when it comes to actually sending messages to any one group, you may do so by press the Add contact icon while composing a message, then pressing the Menu button and selecting Groups. You'll see the names of all the available groups come up on the screen, and you just have to choose which one you want to send a message to.

That help you?
