How do I turn off the sound that occurs when I plug/unplug the charger on the ZTE ZMAX?

Sound notifications are turned off, but the sound continues. Android version is 4.4.2.

Not sure why I didn't try silent mode first. Thanks.

Go to Settings > Sounds. Carefully check for options to disable it. Have you tried putting your phone in silent mode?
