How to turn off safe mode on the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini?

I accidentally hit a button & it turned my Safe Mode on. How do I get it turned back off?

Thank you. It worked for me.

I've tried everything too and nothing happened I still can't get my app and when I go to update my app. There's usuallu a opend button and there's not.

Tony, check if the volume bar is bent, if so I took apart the phone undoing the screws the took the volume bar out and straightened it, put it back together and it's working fine now.

Thank You! This worked for me. I took my battery out for at least 10 seconds and the SAFE MODE problem went away. Thank you David Gonzales for the good information.

Did you install any app before this happened? If you did, try reinstalling it and check if you get out of safe mode after a restart.

Please let me know if you find what's making your phone too boot in safe mode.

My name is Makenzie, I am 15 years old & I've had problems with this "Safe Mode" for about a couple days now. I have tried to restart it multiple times, and it still continued to stay on "Safe Mode". It makes me frustrated that I don't have any of my personal apps. I've turned it off, taken the battery out for 10 seconds, 20 seconds.. etc.. It is still continuing to be on "Safe Mode". I have no idea how to get it off of "Safe Mode" so if anybody could help me out please, I would greatly appreciate you're advise. Thank you.

accidentally hit a button on my s4 mini, and now it is in safe mode, tried restart and a hard restart, still no luck. also did back up and restore with no luck. any other ideas??

Hi Brandi, there are a number of known methods for turning off Safe Mode on the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, most of which involve restarting the phone. One thing you can try is doing a long press on the power button and selecting Restart out of the options that pop up. Wait for the phone to restart and see if it doesn't boot into Safe Mode anymore. In case it still does, turn the phone off completely, remove the battery for 10 seconds, put it back in and then turn the phone back on. Let us know if either of these methods help to successfully take your phone out of Safe Mode. Good luck!
