How do I save my address book from my lg keybo11 to transfer to my new phone?

Why does transfer of my contacts from an old phone to Honor 4X time out after a few seconds? Both phones are Bluetooth active, they are paired, old phone is visible and close by. Transfer starts but times out.
You can use Backup Assistant.
To go to Backup Assistant:
1. Open Menu
2. Contacts
3. Backup Assistant
