Where is the Options button located? When I bring up the Dialer and enter a phone number there is no visible Options button anywhere on the screen.

What are you trying to do exactly? If you just want to see all the contacts on your phone, launch the People app (the small blue phone book icon) and you'll be able to see all your phone book entries right there. But if you want to add new contacts to your phone book, the easiest way to do it would be to hit the Caller app (the blue phone icon) to bring up the Dialer, then enter the phone number and hit Options to save it.
