How can you put MP3 on the Motorola RAZR V3?

i really need help with this...i have a hot pink Motorola V3 RAZR from Rogers Wireless and i cannot figure out how to get a mp3 hookup for it...is there a cable.....or a chip...or what....HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh ... and yes, you need the cable that came with the phone - you can get one from any phone supply shop/dealer - to hook-up the phone to your computer to download whatever files you want on the phone and you may have to buy yourself a microSD card ... they are real cheap now, I got my 1gig microSD for $7.98 @ Wal-Mart.

I know I am REALLY late to reply, but WTH ...
I have a Razr VT3 - and love it - with a 1gig microSD card ... I can play any WMA/Midi/MP3 file - under a 192 bitrate though - on my phone, just can't listen to it with headphones ... no jack. You have to listen to them through the speakerphone. And in a pinch, it's not bad, I've got some good tunes and can walk around wherever I am with it clipped to my belt and still hear my music ... a little reverse-tech I know, but it's like the old days of walking around with a little AM radio!
Hope this helps.

It's a bit late to post a reply but I guess better late than never... Now Missliss I don't want to be the one to do this but did you even ask your sale representative if your Razr had a MP3 function? Because I have the same phone and other than the MP3 ringtone function (which allows you to put MP3 ringtones onto your phone) there is no way you can use this phone as a MP3 player.

I may be wrong on this since I'm using the very first generation of Razr but even with the new generations there hasn't been much changes so I strongly doubt they added the MP3 on the later versions of Razr. I mean the Razr2 doesn't even have it so I think MP3 functions is not a feature wanted on the Razr cell phones.

If you wanted a mp3 phone, you should've gone with a Sony Ericsson W model (300 or 510 or 580).

I hope this helps
