How was your downloading experience with the Motorola C370?

I am happy with my little C370, and wonder now after reading one of the new reviews written about it, have any of you downloaded any other games or Java apps for it.

If you have, what do you like or find that works best.

Did you use the browser to download, or have any one of you purchased the data cable and CD that was listed on the MOTO site.

That's an ingenious way of thniknig about it.

I got a c370...just because it came free with my plan at Rogers. :) I have, however, been very happy with it. For a phone of this price, the quality of voice, reception, size, etc has been perfect!

I would agree with rdiz..

It really depends on how you use your mobile... I think of this phone as crap... I NEVER had good recpetion with it.. I hardly received the games and tones that I downloaded..."

The Nokia is crap? Is that what you guys are saying?

I was talking about the little c370... I've found reception with it good, and am happy with the features. Like little stuff, it is on vibrate for ring in my pocket, but when I get to the car and plug it into the car charger, the ring changes to loud... little bugger remembers stuff like that.

They shipped the moto headset with mine, clips over either ear... doesn't use any latex plug to bug you, and works way better than the little wire thing that came with my old nokia. The little boom mike headset is way better imho.

I actually had a friend who had a C370...

He never thought of getting a cable since he thought that it was useless and started downloading games through the browser...

It seemed that it was fine for him... I don't know for the guys who use cable... But I could say that I'm having fun with a data cable for my Siemens M55...

The only thing good about a cable is when you have free stuff that you can find on the net... Cheaper that way... I can say this because my friend had about a mile long bill for the downloaded stuff he got from his browser..."

Well, that big $bill$ would be a good reason to buy a cable.

I've seen it listed on ebay for way less money than what is listed on my cellular provider (Roger's) site.

Plus... if you have a laptop computer, plugging the cable into the laptop someplace with cell service and no wireless hot spot lets you get onto the web right?

I completely agree.. I didn't really like the 9210 but when I got the P800 it was much better... The funny thing was that my friend bought a 9210 at the same time I bought mine... He never had issues with it unlike me.. But when he got the P800 it just kept choking for him so... Yeh.. I completely agree with rdiz..

Good point dudes..

I had no problems with the cable...

Well, people say a lot of things that are to their experience... Do not fear on what they say... It just really depends on how you use your mobile...

Everybody told me that the Nokia 9210 communicator was a piece of junk compared to the p800... Well, for me it didn't... It was the same series 60 and I didn't have any problems with it...

It really depends on you..
