What can you say about the Audiovox 8910?

I'm looking at buying the Audiovox 8910 and I was wondering if anyone has any testimonials/other info they could tell me on it. Thanks

i have a problem with my 8910 phone i have pictures on my phone how do i get them off, without having to email them is there a cord availiable ? would you please email me if there is one out there .thank you [email protected]

I have the Audiovox 8910 and my basic complaint is the battery. I admit that being a REALTOR(r) I'm on the phone a lot, but the battery doesn't even last a full day. It's ridiculous.

The camera is not great, but I don't really care about that feature, so whatever.

Others have complained about the volume of the ring, but really, I don't have any complaints about that either.

The only other complaint I have is charging the phone. It seems that the mechanism for charging is not great. I always have to fiddle with the cord (whether my AC or car) in order to get it connected right. Kind of annoying...

Anyway, I've owned a lot of cell phones and it's not my favorite. However, aside from the battery, it's not completely horrible.

how do i upload picture from cellphone to an eMac?

i was gonna get it too,but my friend got it and the reception was awful, and the whole phone burnt out in 2 weeks,he went back for another, same thing happened,i would recommend the samsung a660,no external screen or camera, but those are extras, great phone compared to the audiovox 8910"

You are absolutely correct the Samsung A660 is way better that ( has no camera & no big loss) the phone is just solid in comparison to the 8910. I’ve had 3 Samsungs & will go back as soon as I can unload this 8910 on an ENEMY, because I wouldn’t sell it to a friend.

Anyone thinking of getting one of these is making a big mistake (read on) don't take it even if it’s free, like mine was. I'm with Bell Mobility in Montreal & this phone is the worst of all that I've had. Reception is very poor, speakerphone sounds like someone is amplifying an earplug & forcing sound through it. Camera button is always pressed by accident when trying to remove from belt clip. The ring tones are really childlike & very weak even when set to the max. (why not include basic sounding tel. rings). The vibration on this phone is nothing to speak off either. Voice dialling is a real treat, mine is set to activate on opening of the flip... it takes 5 seconds of waiting before you're prompted for a name. My previous Samsung would do the request within 1 second. The camera ( who needs it) is really poor quality, why Audiovox even included it on this phone I don’t know, I guess they needed to compete. Next time don’t bother just stick with a basic phone that won’t drop a signal will sound great. If I need to take a picture I’ll use my digital, if I need to send it I’ll upload to my PC & e-mail it for free & not pay Bell for the this added service. But I guess people have more money to than brains these days.
I could go on but I won’t bashed this cell phone any more, my plan is for another 2 years so I have to put up with it & Bell’s customer service for recommending it.
This phone has some nice features, looks good on the outside except the small screen is worthless in any kind of lighting, the main screen when you open the flip look good to me but again the fonts are way too fine for my liking. Ask around people who already have this model before jumping on any deal. REALLY DISAPOINTED.

I have the 8910. I used to have a Qualcom (Kyocera) 2025. The phone is great, and has good sound quality. The speakerphone is a little short on volume, but that is not a feature I use alot.

The camera takes okay picture, but it will not replace your digital camera.

I like the voice control capability for driving, and find the layout of the menus to be real good. I like the phone overall, and it is as good or better than my Qualcom that it replaced.
