Still not stepping up

Huawei P8 Lite

from Pocketnow (4 days ago)

Why is this phone priced in contention with the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 and ASUS ZenFone 2 when its spec sheet and its features just don’t match up? AOT and ASUS have invested heavily into their mid-range showcase devices and it shows. Huawei, by the nature of their lineup, is treating this de... More

Outclassed by similarly priced phones

Huawei P8 Lite

from Tom's Guide (7 days ago)

Typically, the "lite" version of anything — be it beer, soda or FM radio — indicates that the product has fewer calories or lower fat, but all too often, is code for a watered-down version of the real thing. Such is the case with the Huawei P8 Lite. This smaller, less expensive version o... More

A good entrant in the budget-friendly smartphone space

Huawei P8 Lite

from Android Authority (16 days ago)

The P8 Lite is certainly a solid entry to the budget-friendly smartphone segment, and gets some things right, especially in terms of battery life. That said, things are already extremely competitive in this space, with some fantastic offerings from other OEMs like Asus, Alcatel, and Motorola fightin... More

Exquisitely made and can easily compete in the big leagues

Huawei P8

from GSMArena (19 days ago)

The Huawei P8 is a handsome device and built to high standards. Its stylish exterior and premium feel will get it quite a lot of attention. The P8 is well equipped too and is sure to please the majority of Android users, who value quality exterior and rich functionality.

Looks good, but there’s definitely less of that premium feel

Huawei P8 Lite

from PhoneArena (22 days ago)

On paper, the $249.99 price of the Huawei P8 Lite is an attractive one that no doubt commands attention. While we appreciate how it does its best to emulate the design of the P8, the phone is greeted with stiff competition already out of the gate – the Asus Zenfone 2 and Alcatel Onetouch Idol... More

Hardware is good, software is a little lacking

Huawei Honor 6 Plus

from Coolsmartphone (23 days ago)

Overall for the price the Honor 6+ is a cracking phone, with a few caveats though, all falling under the “you get what you pay for” moniker. The short version is this, the hardware is good, the build and design is good, the camera is amazing and the software is a little lacking. As I men... More

Price-to-performance king

Huawei P8

from Brighthand (23 days ago)

It has a credible finish, excellent display, and notable performance. Sure, its photos are a bit soft, the battery is average, and Huawei blatantly copied rivals with the design, but those are minor niticks. Bottom line, the Huawei P8 simply has the best price-to-performance ratio.

Performance was generally good

Huawei P8

from Phonedog (26 days ago)

The Huawei P8 is an unusual case where you get exceptional hardware put together with temperamental (although attractive) software. I think it’s possibly safe to say that perhaps Huawei - although experienced in building products and components - hasn’t quite mastered software or user in... More

Capable phablet that delivers on a budget

Huawei Honor 4X

from TechRadar (27 days ago)

Honor has once again delivered a very capable smartphone that embodies the company's value for money ethos. The breakaway brand's rapid rise to prominence is exciting for consumers and a major headache for other manufacturers. In the majority of areas the Honor 4X performs significantly better than r... A classy, well-equipped Android smartphone

Huawei P8 Lite

from PC Magazine (27 days ago)

Huawei showcases a good sense of balance with the watered down P8 Lite—compromise is a given at this price point, but enough of the premium P8 has been carried over without sacrificing the core experience. The P8 Lite is a strong unlocked option, but the unlocked competition has really stepped... More

Superb Design

Huawei Ascend Mate 7

This smartphone is very attractive and sleek.Compare with Sony Xperia Z3 this phone has more and more features like fingerprint ID, etc.. The expandable 128GB external memory (using SD card) is more than sufficient to store lots of apps on the device. The performance of 13 MP camera is also very ex... More

Terrible design

Huawei U2801

Nope. I switched to it on wind because they wouldn't take my L4N from Virgin. From circuitous ways of doing what should be regular and routine tasks, to silence or vibrate-only modes that also silence your alarms, there are many reasons this phone's interface is poorly designed. I'd like to sp... More

I really don't like this phone because the battery was defective. The new battery wasn't much better. And, see below.

Huawei Ascend Y215

The battery didn't work and needed to be replaced. The new battery didn't work well. ie I checked the battery even when I didn't use the phone and it needed charging every other day. The phone actually doesn't work properly. ie. Tried to make a call and got cut off not even a minute into the call,... More

Why I both recommend and dislike this phone...

Huawei Ascend Y336

I paid $110+tax to purchase this phone outright from my vendor (no contract) and it is my first Android phone. The price was good and it really is a decent little phone. I think as long as you understand that Android is a huge market with many different price points, and that this is a low end phone... More
