Update: On May 10, 2016 Rogers announced that they would end the Mobilicity brand. Mobilicity will now become part of Chatr Mobile, the other Rogers-owned low cost brand.

Mobilicity, a subsidiary of Rogers, offers service coverage in 5 areas of Canada including Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. In addition to their 5 "unlimited coverage areas", Mobilicity offers optional nationwide service which Rogers says covers up to 95% of the Canadian population. The extended service means Mobilicity plans are available to most Canadians no matter where they live. However, with zone-based pricing you would be charged roaming fees for voice, text and data whenever using your phone outside of the 5 main areas.
