Twitter updated its iPhone app today to bring along a more "beautiful design" and other changes that should make life easier for Twitaholics. Version 5.7 introduces a new tweet composer, widens the timeline by removing the borders, and provides notifications when friends sign-up. The new composer allows photo sharing in under six seconds, and lets users to preview outgoing tweets. Other handset owners weren't left out as Twitter also updated its Android app to introduce the new compose window and to include more details in notifications.
What Else You Need To Know
- Users can now share photos from their camera roll by simply tapping the gallery button on the bottom right corner of the Tweet composer.
- The latest update is available at Google Play and Apple's App Store.
